Technological changes The core elements of HR 4.0 are based on the technological changes. The changes in technology and IT have affected the entire organization and require that HR is realigned accordingly. The focus is on the intelligent linking of systems and work processes which have to be changed fundamentally due to the ongoing digitalization: new ways in recruiting due to „ big data ” (e.g. new data sources for applicant information ) are today equally requested as social interaction internally (e.g. blogs, knowledge management data base ) and externally (e.g. transparency through systems for employer evaluation ).
