8 In this context, not only the identified organizational solutions using advanced technologies (Chapter 1, Chapter 4) are important, but also identified specific activities or processes to increase the efficiency of the organization ( Chapter 5, Chapter 8, Chapter 9). Another important aspect of the presented publication are issues related to the relationship between the organizational culture and performance (Chapter 5, Chapter 6). This is important nowadays, where globalization is becoming a reality, international cooperation is an important element of the competitive advantage of companies and the global economy is polarizing in the direction of Asia. 7KH $GG 9DOXH of this book is an international team that collaborated in the years 2016-2017 as part of a project INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT- BEST PRACTICES coordinated by Assoc. Professor Denisa Abrudan Ph. D. from West University of Timisoara used this time in several areas: didactic conducting e-learning lectures; improving their techniques of conducting classes by observing colleagues from other universities and absorbing good practices; cognitive / developmental deepening knowledge about new trends in HRM, enriching their knowledge by participating in on-line lectures; networking, establishing contacts and getting to know people from other countries dealing with similar research and didactic problems; socializing, meeting new people, culture and behaviour. To sum up, this book is a valuable item, recognizing the global and local problems of modern HRM. It can be used by students of various universities around the world to better learn about HRM, especially in the international context. It can be useful for practitioners from the perspective of presenting the results of research and good practices that contribute to increasing the efficiency of the organization and allow to know the specificity of the organization's functioning in the area of HRM in a specific culture.
