Historical can be talked about the eras that shape interpersonal relationships, corporate challenges, directions of space around us and values that give meaning to everything we do and create. However, the most important element in this complex and focused on the continuous development of the World is adaptation to new challenges. From this perspective, it is worth paying attention to three basic elements of this book: people, ideas and performance. 3HRSOH are today the basic value, resource and capital of modern organization. The evolution of the importance of the human factor in the functioning of the organization shows that its role is changing An important element is consideration of generational structure of employees (Chapter 1) Understanding these phenomena is based on the use of technology in research (Chapter 1) or learning the factors shaping the characteristics of the manager of innovative companies that will help the company succeed ( Chapter 2). Contemporary organizations have to be flexible and act on the basis of behaviours such as cooperation, whose recognition from the perspective of collective and individual action is important in the era of globalization (Chapter 6). The scientific values of the presented concepts are described by historical and modern scientific concepts. he use of the Schwartz Theory of Basic Values in the analysis of the relationship between basic values and the innovative behavioural (Chapter 2) or Behavioural Agency theory to explain the results achieved by family companies (Chapter 3) shows the scientific merits of the presented considerations and may be an inspiration to conduct comparative research in other countries. 3HUIRUPDQFH The use of knowledge about people in the organization and the environment in which they operate is important for the professional work of HRM departments. It is also important in the perspective of the strategy of recruitment, maintenance and development of employees.All research and analysis results presented in this book are valuable from the perspective of performance development and building good practices.
